Africa Safari Serengeti Kusini

4.0* Hotel

A Luxurious Tented Lodge in the Heart of the Southern Serengeti

Your Travel Experience with Shemeji Safari team

Africa Safari Serengeti Kusini is located in the southern Serengeti National Park, in the corridor of the famous wildebeest migration, offering sightings of all the wildlife you would expect from the Serengeti. The Kusini Plains captivate tourists with its expansive savannahs and rich wildlife diversity. Here, the spectacle of millions of wildebeests and zebras in rhythmic migration unfolds against a golden grasslands backdrop. Beyond the migratory herds, the area hosts an array of resident wildlife, including lions, giraffes, buffalo, and elephants.

12 Luxury Glamping tents, furnished with locally crafted furniture and ensuite bathrooms, provide a comfortable retreat amidst the wild beauty of Africa's plains. After a day of adventure, unwind in style as the sounds of nature lull you to sleep under the vast African sky.

The Kusini Crater is not an actual volcanic crater, but rather a circular-shaped grassland surrounded by a forest of acacias. Offering dramatic vistas and lush vegetation, it serves as a haven where diverse wildlife congregates around watering holes visible from the ‘crater's’ rim. When travelling between Kusini and Ndutu, there is the opportunity to discover the Hidden Valley, a depression and water catchment area teeming with wildlife during the green season.
