After about 5–6 hours of trekking, you'll arrive at Shira Camp 1 (3,500m) with sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and Mount Meru in the distance.

Day 3

Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2

This is a key acclimatization day, starting with a 5–7 hour hike from Shira Camp 2 (3,850m) up to Lava Tower (4,630m), followed by a descent to Barranco Camp (3,960m). The route traverses dramatic alpine terrain, helping your body adjust to altitude while offering stunning views of the Western Breach.

Day 6

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
